Business Defense Attorneys in Everett, WA (Snohomish County)

At Genesis, we defend upstanding businesses of all sizes against civil claims of most types, including contract disputes, employment matters, malpractice allegations, and more. In many instances, good companies face false accusations simply because they seem like easy targets. Other times, reputable businesses end up in court because of misunderstandings, ambiguities in the law or factual situation, or honest mistakes. Those are the businesses we defend, and we have a history of defending them well.

Our attorneys generally enjoy top-tier academic backgrounds, and cost-saving technologies enable us to charge our clients lower hourly rates. To learn more, we encourage you to review our website or call us toll free at 866-631-0028.

Frequently Asked Questions:

If your attorneys’ credentials are so strong, why don’t you charge more? Many of our attorneys used to work for the largest and most expensive firms, but we felt there was a better, more efficient way to practice. We wanted to bring quality legal work to good people who otherwise could not afford it. Often times, those good people were small business owners and startup companies. And there were many large enterprises that we simply did not want to overcharge.

Do you represent individuals in cases against businesses or do you just defend businesses? Admittedly, many businesses have hurt individuals, but we found that businesses are more likely to be the wrongly accused parties when individuals and businesses square off in court. As a result, we usually represent businesses rather than individuals.

Do you represent businesses in filing cases or just defending them? We help file cases as well, assuming we feel our clients are in the right and negotiations fail.

Do you accept criminal defense cases, such as white collar criminal defense? We rarely accept criminal defense cases, though we have taken a few for our existing clients. Our business team’s emphasis is civil law, not criminal law.

I’m not a perfect person. Will your firm still represent me and my company? Everyone makes mistakes at some point in time, so we cannot require that our clients be perfect, or even nearly perfect. But we do require absolute honesty from our clients during our representation, including honesty with the court or arbitrator. Occasionally we terminate an attorney-client relationship when we find out a client has been acting deceitfully. If you are looking for someone to help you hoodwink the judge, choose a different law firm. If, on the other hand, you believe honesty is the best policy, we might be a good fit for your case.
